Get Stuff Done (Together)

A focused co‑working session for Service Improvement - every other Friday morning

Block the time. Bring the right work. Leave with real progress (not just good intentions).

What it is:

Get Stuff Done is a simple, structured co‑working session designed to protect your improvement time and help you actually use it.

You’ll join other MSP and Service Desk leaders for a Friday morning block where you:

  • carve out uninterrupted time for Service Improvement
  • work through a clear set of improvement actions (your backlog, your plan)
  • stay accountable (without being micromanaged)
  • finish the session with progress you can point to

This is not a webinar. Not a training session. Not a “let’s talk about it” meeting.

It’s a calm, focused space to execute.

Why This Works:

You can work on absolutely anything improvement related, but....

No tickets.

This is not a support queue session, a troubleshooting clinic, or a place to bring live incidents.

If it belongs in the ticketing system, it doesn’t belong in this session.

(You’ll get far more value by using the time to reduce the volume of tickets you’ll get next week.)

Perfect For:

This is for you if you’re responsible for improving how the Service Desk runs - and the week keeps eating your best intentions.

Ideal for:
  • Service Desk / Service Delivery Managers
  • Operations leaders in MSPs
  • Team leads who own CSI, customer SIPs, or internal improvement work
  • Anyone trying to move from reactive firefighting to repeatable, measurable improvement

If you’ve ever said “we’ll do it when things calm down”… this is your calendar-based reality check.
 constant firefighting mode

WHAT DO WE DO:

Every other Friday morning, we meet for a dedicated improvement block.

Here’s the flow:
  • Arrive with one clear focus (one improvement theme or outcome)
  • Quick kick-off to set intentions and remove ambiguity
  • Cameras on, mics off
  • Deep work time (quiet co‑working - you get on with it)
  • Optional check-ins for accountability and momentum
  • Wrap-up so you leave with a short list of what’s done, what’s next, and who owns it

You can work on whatever improvement work matters most right now - as long as it’s improvement work.

WHAT TO BRING/PREPARE:

To get the most out of the session, come with:
  • One priority outcome (e.g., “close 5 overdue improvement actions” or “draft the customer SIP for Acme Ltd”)
  • Your improvement backlog (actions, tasks, ideas, or a rough list)
  • Any inputs you’ll need (reports, feedback, complaints, recurring issues, SLA data)
  • The people you need (optional) - if you want to co‑work with a colleague, invite them

If you use Oprising, bring t
he actions you’re working on; If you don’t use Oprising, bring your current system - spreadsheet, PSA notes, docs, whatever you’ve got. The point is progress.

FAQs?

How long is the session?

It’s a Friday morning block.

It's an open session, so come when you want, leave when you want.

Do I need to be an Oprising customer?

No. You’re welcome either way. If you are using Oprising, you’ll find it especially easy to turn the time into measurable progress.

Is this training or a webinar?

No - it’s co‑working. Minimal talking, maximum doing.

Can I bring my team?

Yes. If you want to protect improvement time across the Service Desk, bring the people who’ll help you move faster.

What if I’m not sure what to work on?

Come anyway. We’ll help you pick a sensible focus in the kick-off (based on impact, urgency, and effort).

Will we be discussing customer issues?

You can talk about anything improvement related  - but not live ticket triage.
